Greet Minnen and Alison Van Uytvanck have not been able to conclude the WTA tournament of the Serbian Belgrade (clay / $ 235,238) with the overall win in the doubles. In the final, the couple was no match for home players Aleksandra Krunic and Nina Stojanovic, the fourth seed, 6-0 and 6-2 as a hard verdict.
Earlier in the day, the Belgian ladies qualified very quickly for the final 6-2 and 6-1 against the Chinese tandem Yi-Fan Xu and Shuai Zhang, the third seed.
Minnen and Van Uytvanck are thus currently stuck on one joint tournament win at the WTA tournament in Luxembourg in 2018.
