The Belgian coach Serge Crevecoeur (ex-Brussels) has been fired from the French first division Gravelines. A sixth loss in a row in the competition was too much for Crevecoeur.
He had a contract with Gravelines until 2022. But the Belgian could not fully meet the expectations of the board, because the club has announced that it has stopped working with Crevecoeur. His assistant Sébastien Devos temporarily takes over the coaching.
Gravelines, also the club of Belgian Lion Khalid Boukichou, is currently in 13th place in the French Pro A. It won 8 times in 22 games, but lost its past six matches. The defeat against direct competitor Nanterre last weekend was too much for Crevecoeur.
