Dynamo Moscow, employer of Red Dragon Sam Deroo, won the CEV Cup volleyball on Thursday. In an all-Russian final, Dynamo won the return match at St. Petersburg 1-3. The set positions were 21-25, 25-23, 26-28 and 24-26.
Deroo did not play on Thursday. Last week he helped his club with 11 points to a 3-2 victory in the first leg.
It is the fourth time that Dynamo Moscow has won the CEV Cup, after 1985, 2012 and 2015.
Deroo is the third Belgian player to win a European cup this season. Yellow Tigers Lise Van Hecke and Laura Heyrman won the CEV Cup for women with their Italian club Monza.
