Red Devils add practice match against Montenegro to preparation for European Championship, away match against Luxembourg brought forward a day

On Wednesday, June 5, the Red Devils will host Montenegro in the King Baudouin Stadium. The Belgians are adding an extra match to their practice program in view of the European Championships in Germany. The match against Luxembourg, also on home soil, will be moved from June 9 to 8. The Belgian Football Association reports in a press release.

“The Red Devils’ preparation program for the European Championship is taking shape,” the Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA) begins the press release. The Belgians will start on June 5 at 8:30 PM against Montenegro, number 70 in the FIFA rankings. The last, but only previous confrontation between Belgium and Montenegro took place in May 2012 and ended in a 2-2 draw. Kevin Mirallas and Eden Hazard scored for the Devils.

In the send-off match, as it is called, Luxembourg will have to face the axe. That match was initially scheduled for June 9, but since the European, federal and regional elections are taking place in our country that day, the match has been brought forward by one day (to Saturday evening, June 8 at 8 p.m., ed.).
