Youri Tielemans, Timothy Castagne and Dennis Praet are in the semi-finals of the FA Cup. The Belgian trio of Leicester City came into action on Sunday and won 3-1 against Manchester United. Tielemans proved to be of gold value: Anderlecht’s youth product gave Leicester the lead in the second half after a nice run and ditto finish.

Leicester City had already taken the lead in the first half. It needed some help from Fred, who on behalf of Manchester United came out with a terrible pass to goalkeeper Dean Henderson. Kelechi Iheanacho gratefully accepted the gift and scored the 1-0.
Manchester United tied the score shortly before the break after a goal from Mason Greenwood, but Leicester took the lead again early in the second half. This time it was a Belgian goal: Youri Tielemans was launched by Kelechi Iheanacho, walked a long way with the ball, and finally hit the 2-1 layer from just inside the penalty area.
Leicester City had a few good chances to score 3-1 after Tielemans’ goal. Vardy was unable to make it, but in the 78th minute Iheanacho found the nets from close range after a tight free kick by Marc Albrighton. Two goals, one assist: the Nigerian can be very satisfied with that. With that, the final score was also immediately fixed.
Tielemans and Timothy Castagne played the entire match, Dennis Praet came in after 73 minutes. Leicester will face Southampton in the FA Cup semi-final. The Foxes never won the trophy.
