Sam Deroo boekt met Dinamo Moskou nipte zege in heenduel van finale CEV Cup

Sam Deroo and his team Dinamo Moscow narrowly won the first leg of the final of the CEV Cup volley for men’s teams. Deroo and co won in a Russian game against Zenit St. Petersburg 3-2 (26-28, 25-18, 20-25, 26-24 and 15-9).

The return of the final will follow next Thursday (March 25) in Saint Petersburg.

Zenit did not easily eliminate Maaseik in the semi-finals. After all, the Limburgers made up for the 3-1 away defeat from the first leg in the return game with a 3-0 win, but in the following golden set Maaseik still had to give up 16-18. In that golden set, the Limburgers came 10-14, but they were then unable to cash in six match balls.
