F1 Bahrain GP: dates, times and everything about the race.
Teams from Formula 1 will be on the track together for the first time in 2021 this week, with the start of pre-season testing in Bahrain.
The Bahrain International Circuit will host the only group test before the new season, which will take place over three days, from Friday, March 12, to Sunday, March 14.
While most teams have already completed a shakedown with their new cars, limited to 100 km, Bahrain will mark the first opportunity to give them extensive mileage before the new season.
Only three teams are entering 2021 with the same pilot training as last year, which means that several pilots will pass the test getting used to their new environment and working with new faces, increasing the importance of training.
Most teams will try to split the race between their two drivers, giving them a day and a half in the car, but Williams has already confirmed that one day of their participation will be given to development driver Roy Nissany.
Some teams will try to split each day in half, allowing their drivers to run the three days, while others will give their drivers a full day each.

Band made the purchase of Formula 1 broadcasting rights official for the 2021 and 2022 seasons. But there are some new features: Formula 2 and Formula 3 are also in the acquisition package.
Only GPs in the main category will be broadcast on open TV, while qualifying training sessions, F2 and F3 will be restricted to BandSports, the group’s closed sports channel.
Tudotv has also announced the official pricing of F1 TV Pro, the plan that will offer live races – with the Band signal -, training and other special content through a monthly or annual subscription.
The Formula 1 GPs in the Band will have comments by Reginaldo Leme and reports by Mariana Becker. The narration is not yet defined, but there are negotiations with narrators for the function. One of them is Sergio Maurício, holder of the category at SporTV until last year.
